Please note, all information on this page is intended for members of the Association of Ghanaian Commonwealth Veterans & Service Personnel (AGCVSP) only - if you meet the membership criteria of this Association and wish to find out more information about becoming a member, please see membership criteria below and register. ABOUT US



The aim of the Association is to ensure veterans and serving personnel of Ghanaian descent who have served or currently serving in the British Armed forces are able tap into a network and have the welfare support needed in order to advance their careers, businesses and live decent lives.



MISSION OF AGCVSP



Our mission is to help improve the lives of both commonwealth Veterans and serving personnel of Ghanaian descent through a support network.



OBJECTIVES OF AGCVSP



The objectives of the Association will be:

To provide direct welfare packages to benefit members in difficult times including bereavement and illness

To foster good fellowship and render services to one another

To build our networking capabilities and protect the interest of our members

To uphold comradeship and promote social events and gatherings among members

To provide the platform to support and promote the businesses of individual members

To give members the platform to be heard and support each other in any possible way.

The Association is underpinned by our core values of fairness, respect, Integrity, caring for members and others, transparency, interdependence, openness and being nice to members.





MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA AGCVSP



Membership of the Association will be open to all former and current serving soldiers in the British Armed Forces of Ghanaian descent. There will be 4 levels of membership at £5, £10, £15, and £20 and members can decide the right level of membership for them.


We welcome membership applications from the said group regardless of political affiliations, religious beliefs, age, race or sexual orientation, who can resonate with our vision and accept the aims, mission and objectives of the Association.


Any person wishing to become a member must fill, sign and submit a membership application form to the Association and pay the membership fee.
